Mountains and Seas


Miles extended, mountains ponder His wonders;
Deepened fathoms, Blessings ode seas the Lord's.

This is a Chinese seven-character couplet that I wrote in my Applied Chinese final exam, and I translated it into an English rhymning couplet that, as much as I can, features iambic pentameter.
