Determined

Today, I saw a firm determination:
Ah-Hai sang "The Lord's Prayer" in front of the crowd.
Despised the fact that he could have sung something else;
Despised the fact that he forgot the lyrics during the first attempt;
Despised the fact that he must hold a Bible for the lyrics during the second attempt;
Despised the fact that he was alone up there singing;
Despised the fact that the crowd might not understand what he sang;
Despised the fact that, even the crowd did understand, they might not give a damn,
He still sang on and finished it.

Today, I saw a firm determination,
and, along with it, God's glory being magnified.

今天，我看到一股堅定的堅持：
阿海在眾人面前唱了「主禱文」。
儘管他可以唱另外一首歌；
儘管他在第一次唱時忘了歌詞；
儘管他在第二次唱時需要拿著聖經，邊看邊唱；
儘管他是獨自一個人在台上唱；
儘管聽眾有可能聽不懂他在唱什麼；
儘管縱使聽得懂，聽眾有可能根本不屑一顧，
他仍唱下去，且把它唱完。

今天，我看到一股堅定的堅持；
隨著這股堅持，我看到了神的榮耀得以彰顯。
