Pressure

Pressure, to guitarists,
is not rocket science:
it is the very thing that we feel,
that we endure, that we linger on,
in order to strike a note
that sings ever beautiful.

And, just like olives that know not pressure cannot be wine,
fingers that know not pain cannot make beautiful notes, and
love that knows not sacrifice cannot be true.

Yet, even guitarists must loose their fingers
when faced with the pressure of longveity that,
without great faith and mind, cannot be overtaken.

Therefore, ignore not the pressure that surrounds people you love.
Pray and listen, help and be with them along this long road.
