Chinese New Year's Eve

Chinese New Year's Eve,
to the many children of Chinese descent,
this may be just another day to follow what their parents instruct,
with, of course, some extra joy from the bonus money of red envelopes.

To the many adults of Chinese descent, however,
this may be just the day that they work the entire year off to maintain,
with, of course, all the results of hardworking
sealed within each of the little red envelope
and passed on to the next generation.
