Rangers

Scooters are the rangers of this city.

When riding, they have views of this city
Other than those of the riders,
For the riders have their focus only on their riding.

When resting, they have views of this city
Other than those of the walkers,
For the walkers have their attention only on their walking.

Scooters, whether riding or resting,
Have the extra time
Openly yet secretly
Seeing this city in ways humans cannot,
And for that,
They are indeed the rangers of this city.
