The Forgotten

The Forgotten

They are perhaps better called as the ignored.
Yet, these two girls are the forgotten,
For their existence is defined solely by the exchange of excuse me and thank you,
Of which we perhaps usually forget to offer the latter;
And of which we have perhaps forgotten the true meaning.
In this room crowded with ladies and gentlemen
Who are dressed in their finest possible;
Who are trained to offer their best to help the society;
Who are, inevitably, focusing only on the task and perhaps people in front of their eyes,
The two forgotten in the room perhaps serve as the perfect start point
For all the ladies and gentlemen in the room
To really know who in the world they are talking about.
