"Just trying to make myself useful,"
I find, is my sugar-coating technique to hide away the deep down, basic primitive needs to be appreciated, applauded, adored.
After some time, it will have become a habit of mine; something that I do without much thinking.
After some more time, I will have realized that this really gets me nowhere.
