There is a difference between knowing and understanding.
Knowing something doesn't channel the spirit to create. It can only leave a piece of blank paper, for you have no idea whatsoever what to put on it.
Understanding, on the other hand, allows you to fill that piece of paper with anything you want, for the thoughts in you are just so stirred up that you can't help but to put the thoughts into something.
